The Role of Membranes in C&B&I

Abstract
This course discussed situations where there is a need to build or maintain bone in order to achieve soft tissue support and a positive esthetic result. Specifically the procedures of bone augmentation and defect reconstruction were addressed. The membrane technique is a natural choice to solve many of these situations using both non-resorbable and resorbable materials. This course demonstrated how to use membranes effectively in a daily practice.
