Marketing Implants as a Natural Part of Dentistry

Abstract
This course focused on communication issues providing participants with user-friendly practical advice that they could take back to their offices and implement immediately. Designed for both clinicians and staff, this course addressed how to market C&B&I into a practice and educating patients about the benefits of implant treatment, working smarter, not harder.

Participants learned how to create a protocol to open a dialogue and diagnose both current and new patients, help patients set long-term oral health goals, and educate them about dental implants and restorative services.

David Schwab, PhD, Orlando, Florida

Dr. David Schwab is an internationally known seminar speaker and practice management consultant who has worked with dental professionals since 1983. He has previously served as Director of Marketing for the American Dental Association and as Executive Director of the American College of Prosthodontists. In 1989, he founded his own marketing consulting firm, David Schwab & Associates. Located in the Orlando, Florida area, the company provides in-office seminars and other practice management services for fee-for-service dentists nationwide.

Dr. Schwab's practice management and marketing articles have appeared in numerous publications, including the Journal of American Dental Association and the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association. He writes a quarterly column on practice management for periodontists that appears in The Personal Report, and a quarterly column for prosthodontists that appears in the Journal of Prosthodontics.
