Immediate Implant Function with C&B&I

Abstract
This course covered how the C&B&I concept is applied and developed in a restorative clinic. The benefits of immediate implant function in supporting restorative treatment were demonstrated. Specifically, applications in the esthetic zone, the completely edentulous mandible extraction sites, and the edentulous maxillae were discussed. The course demonstrated ways of working with provisional restorations for immediate patient benefits as well as various designs of definitive solutions. The selection of when to use an implant level restoration, selection of abutments, and the steps in the fabrication of a custom abutment in either titanium or ceramic materials were discussed.

Both screw-retained and cemented treatment options were presented. This course provided restorative dentists the confidence to deliver implant therapy to their patients.
