ProceraŽ Implant Prosthetics: Clinical and Laboratory Aspects

Abstract
This course provided information on the laboratory and clinical procedures to achieve accuracy and precision in the fabrication of the ProceraŽ implant prosthetics. It also demonstrated achieving an excellent esthetic result through the application of veneering porcelain on to both aluminum oxide and zirconium oxide core structures. Additionally, the design of the contours and anatomy of the final restoration was demonstrated.

Ernst A. Hegenbarth, MDT, Bruchkoebel, Germany

Mr. Hegenbarth received his Master Dental Technician degree following extensive experience as a dental technician and ceramist in Germany. He is the owner of the Zen Line Institute, an advanced dental laboratory with an attached post-graduate teaching institute. He is the creator of the Creative Color System.

Mr. Hegenbarth is a member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and the International Society of Dental Ceramics. He is on the editorial boards of several journals, including; Implantologie, Quintessence for Dental Technology, Journal for Multidisciplinary Collaboration in Prosthodontics, and Practical Periodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry. Mr. Hegenbarth is the author of numerous publications on esthetics, dental implants, dental ceramics and CAD/CAM technology. He has lectured extensively around the world at major dental conferences on these subjects while maintaining his dental laboratory and educational institute.
